Only the pits, crushers, and guns are useful late game because they don't need to be repaired. A spiked ceiling isn't fun to play with because by level 25, putting one next to the entrance means that it has to be repaired almost immediately, and multiple times in one round.
Thanks for the feedback! You're right in that some of the objects get a little OP in the later game. We're going to work on improving that. We probably need to start introducing some more complicated heroes, for example some that can fly. Also nerfing some of the weapons might be helpful in some cases. We'll have a look :)
Cool game! I found a bug with building: if you select an object to build and the purchase phase starts, the object stays attached to the cursor, but you can’t place it. When you decide to place the next object, the bugged one gets placed, and the one you selected afterward will start floating around the cursor until you try placing a new one (and so on in a loop).

I can reproduce the error and I've already fixed it in our dev branch on github, but considering the voting round is still up for the game jam, we can't update the build here just yet. Once that's finished we'll publish a much better version of the game hopefully! 🙏
